McGraw Hill, the leading provider of digital and print educational resources, is looking for an Associate Academic Designer, Science (Labs) for our School division.

As part of our PreK-12 business, you'll be part of a team that creates robust curriculum and learning solutions in a variety of print and digital formats that are used by millions of educators and students every day. The Associate Academic Designer, Science (Labs) for 6-12 Science is a content and curriculum expert, responsible and accountable for assembling high-quality, 3-dimensional classroom and digital investigations.

This is a remote position open to applicants authorized to work for any employer within the United States. This is a Project Status Worker (PSW) role with an end date of 10/15/2026.

What you will be doing:

  • Planning 3-dimensional classroom investigations that meet national science standards.
  • Developing all aspects of the classroom and digital investigations, including correlations, manuscript, wireframes, and materials tracking.
  • Researching educational trends, issues, content standards, and competitive products.
  • Producing pedagogically and scientifically sound products that are accurate, error free, and meet curriculum standards.
  • Preparing manuscript, ensuring readability and grade level appropriateness in accordance with project specifications.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional team members to follow approved workflows to ensure marketing requirements, project schedules, and project goals are met.

We're looking for someone with:

  • Bachelor's degree in a Life, Earth, or Physical Science.
  • Experience planning and developing 3-dimensional investigations in a 6-12 classroom is a plus.
  • 3+ years of experience in educational publishing and/or significant editorial experience is a plus.
  • Experience with the Next Generation Science Standards is required.
  • Effective organizational and time management skills; productive, efficient work habits and the ability to prioritize, multitask, and exhibit flexibility to rapidly changing priorities in an Agile work environment.
  • Experience working with digital curriculum development and digital products.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel.

The pay range for this position is between $41,230.00 - $58,000 annually. However, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
