Job Overview:

Join our diagnostic team as an X-ray Technician where you will play a vital role in patient care by producing high-quality diagnostic images of human tissue, bones, and organs. Working across our Toms River and Eatontown locations, you will operate advanced radiation equipment to help physicians accurately diagnose injuries and diseases. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to ensure patient safety and clinical excellence in a fast-paced, professional environment.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Current BLS/CPR Certification
  • New Jersey State Licensure for Radiologic Technology (NJ DEP)
  • Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift patients, and work in a fast-paced environment

Preferred:

  • Previous experience operating CT scanners in addition to standard X-ray equipment
  • Proficiency with digital archiving systems and electronic medical records

Scheduling Requirements

  • Full-Time (Day)

Essential Functions:

  • Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process, reviewing medical history, and applying necessary lead shielding
  • Position patients and equipment to capture high-quality images of specific areas using X-ray or CT scanners
  • Adhere strictly to "As Low As Reasonably Achievable" (ALARA) radiation safety protocols
  • Operate, maintain, and clean digital imaging and processing equipment
  • Maintain detailed and accurate patient records within digital archiving systems
