And here's where you come in: as the leader of the Engineering function, you will oversee the maintenance and operations of the hotel's physical plant, ensuring a safe, efficient, and exceptional environment for guests and team members alike. Your leadership will be critical in preserving the integrity of this one-of-a-kind property while supporting its continued growth and success.

Here is what you will be doing each day:

  • Manage and supervise all Engineering staff and hotel maintenance operations
  • Oversee preventive maintenance and repair programs for all building systems, equipment, and physical assets
  • Monitor life safety systems, utilities, and mechanical/electrical systems to ensure optimal performance
  • Ensure compliance with all corporate standards and local, state, and federal regulations
  • Maintain the overall condition of the property, including guest rooms, public areas, grounds, and rooftop amenities


Does this sound like you?

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar hotel engineering leadership role
  • Experience with lifestyle or independent hotels preferred
  • Strong ability to multitask in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with proven leadership skills
  • HVAC and CPO certifications required
  • Advanced knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, pool systems, and general building maintenance
  • Passion for delivering high-quality service and maintaining an exceptional guest experience


Must exhibit:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English

Here is what you will be doing each day:




  • In this role, you will be managing and supervising all of Engineering staff and the maintaining and maintenance of the hotel.



  • You will supervise the implementation of all property equipment preventive maintenance and repairs, monitoring life safety systems and utilities and administering the department in compliance with all corporate/franchise standards and local, state and national codes and regulations to protect assets, guests and associates.



  • Preventive maintenance and repair of the hotel's mechanical/electrical systems and equipment, and for the general maintenance and upkeep of the physical plant, FF&E, grounds, swimming pool, etc.




Does this sound like you?




  • You have at least 2 years of experience in a similar position at a hotel.



  • You have the ability to multi task in a fast paced environment and have strong leadership skills.



  • HVAC and CPO certifications a must.



  • You have very strong skills in electrical, plumbing, carpentry, pool maintenance and all other aspects of the discipline.



  • You take pride in providing quality of service and ensuring our guests have a great experience.



  • Must exhibit:





    • Strong interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written.



    • Excellent time management and problem resolution skills.



    • The ability to communicate in English
