Job Title: QC Lab Associate / Analyst

Location: Thousand Oaks, CA (100% Onsite)

Duration: 6 Months (Possible Extension)

Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM


Job Summary:

Under general supervision, this role performs routine laboratory testing and supports Quality Control operations in a regulated environment. The position requires adherence to cGMP, safety, and regulatory standards while executing analytical testing, maintaining documentation, and supporting lab operations.


Key Responsibilities:

* Perform routine analytical and compendial testing (pH, protein concentration, water testing, endotoxin, appearance, color, clarity).

* Accurately document, calculate, compile, and enter laboratory data in a timely manner.

* Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments and equipment.

* Maintain laboratory reagents and ensure an inspection-ready environment.

* Complete and maintain compliant documentation including logbooks, worksheets, and electronic records.

* Follow cGMP, safety, and regulatory (CFR) requirements at all times.

* Maintain training records and adhere to SOPs and laboratory systems.

* Support document updates, revisions, and change control activities.

* Identify and escalate compliance, safety, or data integrity issues.

* Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to lab operations.

Basic Qualifications:

* High School Diploma/GED with 2+ years of work experience OR

* Associate's degree with 6+ months of experience


Preferred Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related field (recent grads encouraged)

* Hands-on QC GMP lab experience

* Familiarity with cGMP principles and regulated environments

* Strong organizational and time management skills

* Ability to review and interpret data accurately

* Strong written and verbal communication skills

* Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines

* Perform analytical compendial testing

* Maintain laboratory cleanliness and readiness

* Support documentation updates and continuous improvement projects

* Candidates must be local or able to commute to Thousand Oaks, CA without issues

* Opportunity to gain experience with Amgen in a regulated QC environment
