Under the guidance of the Cardiovascular Imaging Research Center Director, the Administrative Manager reports to the Cardiovascular Imaging Research Center (CIRC) Director, with additional oversight from the Senior Director of Radiology Research Administration, and assumes responsibility for setting the administrative direction of CIRC. The role is responsible for ensuring that all research-related administrative, financial, compliance and management operations are appropriately accomplished monitored, and reported. The position is accountable for the planning, development, implementation, and measurement of research administrative activities, including fiscal management, people and resource allocation, and compliance.
Functioning as a crucial source of administrative leadership, this role provides guidance and support to a diverse group of investigators and administrators across all aspects of pre-award and post-award policies and procedures. This encompasses around 40 active funds and entails the involvement of approximately 32 research staff, including 10 principal investigators (PIs).

Education
Bachelor's Degree Business Administration required or Bachelor's Degree Finance required or Bachelor's Degree Related Field of Study required

Licenses and Credentials

Experience
Experience in research administration, financial management, or grant administration in a healthcare or academic setting 5-7 years required

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Strong financial management and budgeting skills, particularly in research grant administration.
- Ability to manage multiple research projects and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Leadership and supervisory skills to guide the research administration team.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with researchers, hospital leaders, and funding agencies.
- Proficiency in financial reporting systems and grant management software.
