Long term contract

Hybrid- Mettawa - Flexible at first but prefer 3 days onsite/2 days remote

Our client, a global pharmaceutical client is seeking a Video Editor to do a little bit of everything from talking head videos to motion graphics editing. Part of this job may involve shooting video. Videos will be both short form and long form projects for internal communications and range from one minute to 45 minutes in length. The audience for these videos will mainly be internal and will include communications for brand teams and include sizzle videos from past conferences.

Responsibilities

* Edit high-quality video content that aligns with brand and creative objectives

* Collaborate with writers, designers, and creative leadership to craft engaging visual stories

* Shape narrative, pacing, and tone across interview-driven ("talking head"), documentary-style, and branded content

* Ensure brand consistency and technical excellence across all deliverables

* Manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing deadlines with creative quality

* Stay current with editing techniques, production workflows, and emerging tools

* Partner with creative and project managers to align on goals, timelines, and expectations

* Lead by example through strong creative execution, communication, and collaboration

* Support video shoots, including developing shot lists, lighting setups, and equipment needs

Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree preferred

* 3-5 years of experience in video production, post-production, or an agency/creative environment

* Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects); experience with audio editing required

* Familiarity with AI tools and/or 3D workflows is a plus

* Strong portfolio demonstrating narrative storytelling, interview-driven ("talking head") content, motion graphics, and typographic sensibility

* Strong communication and organizational skills

The base pay range listed reflects what we reasonably expect to offer for this role. Actual pay may vary based on location, experience, and performance.
