Network / System Engineer

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Messaging and Collaboration Engineer for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC, Plano, TX and Pennington, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.

This role is responsible for maintaining and supporting the enterprise Messaging and Collaboration infrastructure, with a focus on client support in a large-scale, multi-site, and multi-domain environment. The engineer will manage applications such as Outlook, SharePoint, WebEx, and Skype/Teams, and oversee the integration of email with mobile devices and other unified communication technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Administer Messaging and Collaboration user accounts, including creation, changes, moves, and group list maintenance
• Assume a leadership role in resolving complex technical issues (SME)
• Consult with application developers on the impact of applications on the messaging environment
• Coordinate with developers and project managers to deploy worldwide enterprise solutions
• Provide technical expertise to internal IT groups and recommend optimizations
• Protect the security of the messaging environment through access control and security measures
• Provide training to users, junior technicians, and other IT personnel

Requirements:

• Experience with Outlook MS-365
• SharePoint administration experience
• Knowledge of WebEx and Skype/MS Teams
• Working knowledge of Active Directory and Microsoft Exchange
• Experience with OneDrive
• Familiarity with PowerShell usage
• Knowledge of current Windows operating systems
• Excellent written and oral communication skills with a focus on quality customer service
• Ability to work with minimal direction and manage multiple tasks

Pay range: $58.31 - $66.31 per hour
