Description

0.8 to 1.0 FTE - Day Shift

Starting Pay - $20.40 to $24.98 (based on experience)

Offers for external candidates are generally made between the minimum and midpoint of the range, based on experience.

Qualifications:



  • Prior computer experience required
  • Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
  • General knowledge of Accounts Receivable
  • Vital sign measurement (training available)
  • CNA experience preferred
  • BLS certification within 90 days of hire


Job Responsibilities:



  • Provides patient care in collaboration with the healthcare team.
  • Greets patients, caregivers, and visitors to the department in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Completes basic rooming standards per departmental guidelines such as obtaining height, weight, temperature, and blood pressure.
  • Ensures accurate documentation in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
  • Prepares patients for examination and procedures.
  • Helps clinician or clinical support staff during patient exams or minor procedures.
  • Cleans and restocks exam rooms.
  • May order department supplies.
  • Registers patients, sets up insurance, and verifies demographics each time a patient arrives at the clinic.
  • Assists with processing patient paperwork, forms, and referrals.
  • May schedule and verify patient appointments.
  • Attends education and training seminars.
  • Maintains a safe work environment and complies with standards for safe practice and standard precautions.
  • Other duties as assigned.
