Position description

The Division of Infectious Diseases, Department of Medicine at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA is seeking applicants for a full-time postdoctoral position. The candidate will conduct research in HIV reservoirs and curative therapies in the context of humanized mouse models. The candidate should be familiar with techniques such as multi-color flow cytometry and/or mass cytometry, sterile technique for cell culture with BSL-2+ practices, qRT-PCR, sterile technique for bacterial culture, and animal dissection and tissue processing. Bioinformatics knowledge is preferred but is not required. The candidate should be comfortable working with BSL2+ biospecimens with HIV. A Ph.D. is required.
