Ryan Companies US, Inc. has an immediate career opportunity for a Project Manager II to join our office in Dallas, TX!

To be successful in this role, you must have a Bachelor's degree in Construction Engineering or Construction Management and at least six years of commercial construction experience. Essential to this role is a solid understanding of project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Textura, Procore, Building Connected, and Bluebeam, as well as a thorough knowledge of sitework design, building components, and systems. You should also be familiar with estimating techniques, cost control, and material pricing. Proven ability to manage multiple project types and complexities is crucial. Effective communication with superintendents, subcontractors, and owner/clients is necessary. Additionally, a minimum of six months of experience in both estimating/preconstruction and fieldwork is required.

Some things you can expect to do:

  • Working with project schedules, cost projections, contracts, project status reports & more.

  • Lead construction progress meetings.

  • Oversee design development.

  • Prepare and manage project budgets, profit projections, schedules & bid documents.

  • Negotiate and award subcontracts.

  • Help conduct jobsite coordination meetings and job status reports.

  • Work directly with owners/clients, field teams, subcontractors and various internal teams for support.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in ConstructionEngineering/Management

  • 6+ years of proven experience in the commercial construction industry (industrial, healthcare, retail, office, senior living and multi-family experience preferred).

  • Proven ability to manage commercial projects in the $1 - $75 million range.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Project and other project management tools.

  • Advanced knowledge of estimating techniques, cost control and material pricing.

  • Ability to assume responsibility, interface and communicate effectively with superintendents, subcontractors and owner/clients.

  • Able to travel for projects if needed.

  • Proven ability to manage projects in the $1-$30 million range.

  • Ability to assume the lead responsibility in interfacing and communicating effectively with superintendents, subcontractors, owner/clients, and authorities having jurisdiction.

  • Proven ability to lead a team of construction professionals including successful teaching and delegation of tasks to Project Coordinators, Engineers, and other team members.

  • A strong customer focus that pursues customer input to help exceed expectations.

  • Consistent professionalism including honesty and integrity, and a passion for excellence.

  • Unwavering teamwork skills and the ability to delegate effectively.

  • Demonstrate relationship building skills with third party clients and vendor partners.

  • Promptly and effectively resolve issues with win-win solutions and display natural leadership skills and qualities to guide multiple project teams with direct responsibility of project personnel.

  • Are a team player who leads by example, displays honesty, integrity, and good judgment while maintaining the highest professional standards at all times.
