Salary Range

The salary range for this position is $98,400.00/Yr. - $199,000.00/Yr.. The base salary indicated for this position reflects the compensation range applicable to all levels of the role across the United States. Actual salary offers within this range may vary based on a number of factors, including the specific responsibilities of the position, the candidate's relevant skills and professional experience, educational qualifications, and geographic location.

As a Senior Business Analyst, you will lead requirements definition, solution design, and technical analysis for projects and minor enhancements within the IT Wealth Management team. This role requires strong technical expertise to translate complex business needs into scalable, secure, and compliant technology solutions across Wealth Management platforms, including Brokerage, Trust, RIA, and advisory services.

This role regularly supports digital platforms and client-facing experiences, including web and mobile applications, UX/UI-informed enhancements, and digital service integrations, while also partnering on back-office and platform modernization work. The Senior Business Systems Analyst collaborates with product, data, and engineering teams to translate user needs, design standards, and digital workflows into clear, technical requirements.

The Senior Business Analyst will work closely with enterprise solution architects, developers, data teams, vendors, and business partners to define and capture technical requirements for APIs, data flows, system integrations, and end-to-end solutions that support internal operations and client-facing experiences. This individual is responsible for documenting existing business needs, analyzing current-state technology, and designing future-state solutions aligned with Wealth Management business strategy, regulatory requirements, and client experience objectives.

This role serves as the endtoend technical integrator for complex, crossteam initiatives-owning solution coherence across platforms, surfacing dependencies and risks, and ensuring that business intent, architecture, and delivery execution remain aligned throughout the lifecycle of large-scale programs.

This role is expected to actively leverage approved AI tools as part of daily work practices to improve efficiency, quality, and speed of analysis, documentation, and solution design. The Senior Business Analyst applies sound judgment and human oversight when using AI-assisted outputs and partners with stakeholders to ensure AI is used responsibly to support business outcomes.

Key Accountabilities

Key Accountability #1: Define & Deliver Solutions
    Actively drive delivery alignment for complex, multi-team initiatives by coordinating technical sequencing, cross-team dependencies, and decision points to ensure solutions are built, integrated, and delivered as intended.
  • Lead and design end-to-end business systems and project deliverables for Wealth Management initiatives, ensuring artifacts are created, maintained, and traceable from intake through implementation.
  • Elicit, analyze, and document business and technical requirements, including epics, features, user stories, acceptance criteria, non-functional requirements, and implementation requirements.
  • Partner with business owners and product managers to translate user journeys, wireframes, design system standards, and usability considerations into epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical requirements for digital channels.
  • Ensure digital solutions meet usability, accessibility, performance, and security expectations across web and mobile platforms (as applicable to the initiative).
  • Produce high-quality technical specifications and supporting documentation needed for build and integration, including interface/API requirements, request/response mapping, data models, workflow definitions, and dependency management.
  • Develop, document, and maintain test artifacts, including test scripts, validation scenarios, test data requirements, and support for system and user acceptance testing.
  • Partner with solution architects and engineering teams to define solution approaches, integration patterns, system interactions, and design tradeoffs, ensuring alignment between business intent and technical implementation.
  • Exercise independent judgment, lead complex initiatives with minimal direction, and facilitate working sessions to drive decisions, resolve ambiguity, and progress delivery.
  • Manage multiple initiatives concurrently with transparent communication to leadership.

Key Accountability 2: Analyze, Troubleshoot & Improve

  • Analyze and document data flows across systems, including source-to-target mappings, data lineage expectations (as applicable), transformation logic, and data quality rules.
  • Analyze and document data and integration patterns that support digital experiences, including client interactions, digital workflows, and front-end to back-end data exchange.
  • Produce current-state and future-state diagrams for data flows and integrations to support solution design and stakeholder alignment.
  • Partner with data and platform teams to define data requirements for operations, reporting, and analytics.
  • Research and resolve production issues by identifying root causes across applications, APIs, integrations, and data pipelines.
  • Lead process and solution improvements to increase reliability, efficiency, and user experience.
Key Accountability 3: Align Stakeholders & Partners
  • Serve as technical liaison between business, vendor and technical teams.
  • Provide clear project and solution status updates including risks and dependencies.
  • Drive alignment on scope, priorities, and key tradeoffs; surface decisions needed and ensure outcomes are documented and socialized.
  • Partner with product and delivery leads to manage requirements changes, clarify impacts (cost, timeline, risk), and maintain end-to-end traceability.
  • Mentor junior analysts on technical analysis, solution design, and documentation standards.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • 6-8 years in technical BA, solution analysis, and/or technical delivery
  • Experience supporting complex initiatives within regulated industries, with preference for financial services domains such as wealth management, banking, brokerage, trust, RIA, or advisory platforms
  • Experience with API analysis, application architecture, data analysis, and integrations supporting digital (web and mobile) platforms.
  • Demonstrated experience producing BA delivery artifacts (requirements, epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, and test scripts) for technical implementations involving APIs, integrations, data flows, and digital channel enhancements.
  • Demonstrated ability to use approved AI tools as part of daily work practices to improve speed and quality of analysis and documentation, with strong validation and accountability.
  • Strong communication skills with ability to translate technical concepts.
  • Experience with Jira.
  • Ability to travel as needed.

Experience (Preferred)

  • Build deep understanding of Wealth Management products, platforms, and technology architecture.
  • Experience supporting digital platforms such as web and mobile applications, online portals, or client-facing SaaS solutions.
  • Familiarity with accessibility, usability, and performance considerations for digital channels.
