This role involves patrolling the university's parking lots and garages to ensure compliance with UCF parking regulations. The Parking Patroller will maintain the functionality of LPR (License Plate Recognition) software, report issues to the supervisor, and uphold fair parking enforcement in accordance with Florida statutes and local ordinances. Additionally, the Parking Patroller will assist with university events and issue parking citations for violations. Responsibilities:
Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or Equivalent and 0+ years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219. Preferred Qualifications:
Health Assessment Required: UCF policy requires completion and passing of a physical exam for this position. Special Instructions to the Applicants: Parking Services is also recruiting for a Parking Patroller position with a different schedule. New hires selected for this position at the University of Central Florida can expect to be offered the base salary amount for the role. Compensation is determined in alignment with UCF's pay structure and internal equity considerations. This is an Auxiliary (AUX) funded position. Employment is subject to availability of funding and may cease at the time funding for this employment is depleted. Position requires a valid Class E driver's license. The position may involve driving to various locations on and off campus to conduct University business. May be required to participate in respiratory, medical examination and training in use of respirators. All applicants must be authorized to work for any U.S. employer.
