Your Opportunity: Taylor Corporation is looking for a Production Team Lead in our North Mankato-MN facility. The Team Lead is a hands-on leader responsible for supporting daily production operations, ensuring adherence to processes, and driving team performance. This role serves as the first line of support for operators-providing guidance, troubleshooting issues, and helping maintain a productive, positive work environment. The Team Lead acts as a key communication link between production staff and leadership while leading by example in attitude, reliability, and teamwork.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate daily work assignments in partnership with the Supervisor to meet production goals

  • Train new employees on processes, equipment, and safety procedures

  • Ensure all team members are following established work instructions and quality standards

  • Identify and address production issues early, including workflow, equipment, or material concerns

  • Troubleshoot and resolve routine production or mechanical issues

  • Manage and prioritize problem orders to minimize disruption to operations

  • Fill in operational gaps as needed to keep production running efficiently

  • Provide real-time support and guidance to team members on the floor

  • Escalate larger or unresolved issues to the Supervisor in a timely manner

  • Promote a safe, organized, and team-oriented work environment

Your Shift:

  • 2nd Shift; Monday - Friday, 1pm - 9pm

You Must Have:

  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and accuracy

  • Solid computer skills (Microsoft office, data entry, reporting, etc.)

  • Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues

  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Dependability in attendance and follow-through

  • Positive attitude with the ability to lead by example

  • Strong teamwork mindset with a willingness to support others

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt in a fast-paced environment

  • Lead by example in work ethic, attitude, and accountability

  • Support and lead team members through coaching and training

  • Foster open communication and collaboration across the team

  • Maintain professionalism while working within a peer-level leadership role

  • Act as the primary point of contact for team members during daily operations

  • Authority: Provides guidance and direction but does not have direct personnel decision authority

Requirements within this position:

  • Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understand

  • Regularly required to remain in a stationary position

  • Constantly operates machinery and handles products including print materials

  • Frequently required to move inside the facility.

  • Regularly move up to 25+ pounds (lift, push, pull and/or carry)

Theanticipatedhourly range for this position is $22 - 23. The actual base offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The range listed is just onecomponentof Taylor Corporation's total compensation and benefits package for employees.
