Senior Product Manager - Agentic Control Tower (Datagrid)

Procore
United States, California, San Francisco
May 28, 2026

We're looking for a Senior Product Manager - AI Control Tower to join Procore's AI Product organization. Procore's AI is winning in the market-our data grids generate massive pipeline, and our incoming enterprise deals are the largest we've ever seen. However, every single one of these landmark deals comes with a non-negotiable condition: before our largest customers roll out autonomous AI agents to their entire organization, they need to trust what those agents are doing with their budget, who has access, and how to measure the return on investment.

Control Tower is the answer. To be clear, this is not a dashboard role. The user interface is already built. The real product is the underlying governance engine: the unglamorous, highly strategic machinery that governs spend, automates enterprise-wide onboarding, sets guardrails, and mathematically proves the AI was worth the money. You will build a system that proactively intervenes-notifying an administrator that an automated process or user is experiencing runaway costs in real-time, rather than forcing them to hunt for answers.

As a Senior Product Manager, you will tackle a problem space that nobody in the tech industry has successfully cracked yet. You will partner with machine learning engineering, data engineering, Customer Success, and enterprise buyers to define how organizations safely scale agentic AI. This role offers extreme executive visibility, genuine architectural ownership, and the opportunity to build a skillset that the entire AI industry desperately needs.

What You'll Do
  • Define the AI Governance Engine: Make the central strategic judgment calls on how access controls and budgeting guardrails function. Establish the playbook for what triggers a warning, a pause, or a hard operational stop.

  • Solve the AI Cost Curve: Partner with core engineering and foundation model teams to smooth out unpredictable agent consumption patterns. Design the credit, pricing, and billing frameworks that a corporate CFO can actually forecast against.

  • Architect Enterprise Scale Onboarding: Build the underlying administration systems required to provision, allocate credits, and manage budgets for companies with 10,000+ employees smoothly and efficiently.

  • Build Proactive Early Warning Systems: Design intelligent telemetry for Customer Success to spot flatlining usage or runaway automations before the customer does. Simultaneously, build internal admin tools to flag drops in model quality or potential user data misuse without crossing the line into employee surveillance.

  • Quantify and Prove AI ROI: Lead an advanced product research track utilizing LLMs to estimate human effort saved per agent interaction. Turn these data points into defensible, high-integrity proof points that secure multi-million dollar renewals.

  • Drive Customer-Centric Discovery: Spend significant time co-designing this product with our largest enterprise customers, balancing corporate oversight, data privacy, and user experience.

What We're Looking For
  • 4+ years of product management experience, with a proven track record of owning highly complex, data-heavy B2B SaaS platform infrastructure, governance, or cloud-spend optimization tools.

  • Obsession with Deep Customer Discovery: Exceptional ability to sit with enterprise buyers, abstract complex privacy and operational anxieties, and translate them into clean product requirements.

  • Strong Financial & Analytical Acumen: Comfort navigating complex usage-based pricing models, API consumption metrics, and large-scale data systems.

  • Ability to Navigate Extreme Ambiguity: Proven experience building unscripted, zero-to-one infrastructure products where no industry playbook exists.

  • High-Stakes Communication Skills: Ability to build strong alignment with engineering teams while confidently interfacing with internal executives, customer admins, and Fortune 500 decision-makers.

Nice to have experience with:
  • FinOps, IAM (Identity & Access Management), or enterprise governance platforms.

  • Building products built on top of LLMs, agentic workflows, or proprietary foundation models.

  • Working closely with Customer Success or Go-To-Market teams to drive retention and expansion metrics.

  • Managing developer platforms or cloud billing infrastructure.
