This role aligns with Staff Accountant and Senior Accountant positions in manufacturing environments and focuses on cost accounting, financial reporting, inventory accounting, and operational financial analysis. Compensation for this positionrangesfrom $85,000to$110,000per year, with an annual bonus, andisbased on experience, education, and skills.

WhatYou'llDo as a Plant Accountant

• Assistwithinventory accuracy, including quarterly physical inventories, audit cadence, and variance resolution

• Helpwith monthlyclosing, plant financial statements, and standardized financial reportingin accordance withcorporate timelines

• Prepare budgeting, forecasting, and annual operating plan submissions

• Maintain standard costs, cost accounting processes, and bills of materials (BOMs)

• Managecompliance with SOX internal controls andmaintainaudit readiness

• Participate in production meetings and conduct regular plant walkthroughs

• Partner with plantmanagementon manufacturing finance and cost management

• Providedaytodayoversight of the plant accounting clerk and plant planner

• Cooperate with corporate financeonreporting accuracy and control compliance

• Support with HR functions as needed

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree in AccountingorFinance

• A minimum of 2 years of accounting or finance experience

• Strongknowledgeof cost accounting, inventory controls, andmonthendclose

• Working knowledge of GAAP principles

• ExperiencewithSOXalignedor internal control environments

• Detailoriented, organized, andprocessfocusedwork style

• Comfortable managing plant accountingdutieswith minimal supervision

• Strong ability to meet deadlines while working as a team
