- Collaborate closely with affiliates to ensure accurate monthly reconciliation of all intercompany accounts
- Take ownership of a West Coast joint venture, preparing monthly journal entries, managing partnership invoicing, and participating in board meetings
- Train, mentor, and support staff-level team members to improve performance, develop technical skills, and uphold best practices
- Prepare and maintain monthly, quarterly, and annual Balance Sheet reconciliations and analyses, investigating variances, resolving discrepancies, and ensuring compliance with internal controls and reporting standards
- Partner with Treasury to record and manage monthly financial activity for multiple foreign entities, ensuring accuracy and alignment with reporting requirements
- Apply accounting expertise to resolve moderate issues, interpret accounting matters, and recommend best practices
- Utilize technology, including AI-driven tools, to improve efficiency and effectiveness in all responsibilities
What makes you great
- You hold a Bachelor's Degree in
Accounting or Finance - Five years of experience in finance, public accounting, or related experience
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, along with experience in ERP systems; JD Edwards experience preferred, with the ability to leverage Oracle Analytics Server (OAS) to drive operational efficiencies
- You solve complex accounting
issues independently and efficiently - Demonstrate strong analytical
skills paired with excellent verbal and written communication abilities - Additionally, you will learn new
processes and concepts quickly to support evolving business needs - Apply accounting principles to
manage revenue and corporate accounting tasks - Communicate clearly and
effectively with team members and stakeholders - Thrive in a team that values
