Reporting to: Chief Operating Officer

FLSA Status: Exempt Location: Jersey City, NJ

Walton Enterprises is seeking a skilled, highly motivated and entrepreneurial individual to join the team as a Senior Associate, Strategy & Operations. The ideal teammate will have the demonstrated ability to manage workstreams and projects, conduct advanced analysis, and drive strategic and operational coordination across the enterprise.

About the Position

Own workstreams and advanced analysis across strategic, financial, and operational topics; prepare governance materials and contribute to enterprise processes while mentoring teammates.

What you will do

As a Senior Associate, you will take ownership of defined workstreams and deliverables within cross-functional and client facing projects. You will conduct advanced analysis, lead cross-functional and client projects, prepare governance materials that inform leadership decisions, and contribute early insights in team discussions. You will also guide peers by reviewing their work and providing informal coaching to support both quality and professional growth.

Responsibilities

    Manage cross-functional and client facing projects, taking ownership of deliverables with limited oversight.
  • Conduct advanced analysis to inform decision-making across strategic, financial, and operational topics.
  • Prepare and draft governance materials (e.g., Board decks, principal briefings) for review by leadership.
  • Support enterprise-wide processes such as annual planning, performance tracking, or special initiatives.
  • Lead components of household operational projects, coordinating stakeholders and ensuring timely execution.
  • Provide early-stage thought partnership by contributing analysis, insights, and options in leadership discussions.
  • Collaborate with Associates, providing informal guidance and quality control on work outputs.
  • Support adoption and integration of enterprise systems into team workflows.

Who we are looking for

  • Advanced analysis and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong project management capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Qualifications required for your success

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 3-5 years of experience in strategy consulting, financial services, or professional services.
  • Advanced degree (MBA, MPP, etc.) preferred but not required.

Additional Helpful Experience Includes

  • Familiarity with wealth, investment, and liquidity concepts.
  • Exposure to governance or Board preparation processes.
  • Experience in mission-driven organizations, family offices, or philanthropy.
  • Familiarity with project management tools or certifications (e.g., PMP, Agile).

Benefits Information

Compensation Range: $168,000 - $210,000

Benefits Information: We offer a comprehensive and generous benefits package which includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) retirement plan and paid time off.
