As a Senior BusinessSystems Analyst, focusing on Power BI Reports and Dashboards, you will play a key role in shapingandadvancingthe Business Intelligence platform across the LDI family of companies. You will drive the design and delivery of scalable, high-quality data solutions that enable data-driven decision-making across a growing and diverse enterprise.

This role requires both strong technical expertise and business acumen. You will partner closely with business leaders to translate complex requirements into actionable insights, helping the organization better understand performance, identify opportunities, and drive strategic outcomes.

The positionreports to the Manager Business Systems and is based at our corporate headquarters in New Hope, Minnesota.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the architecture, design, and ongoing evolution of the Power BI platform.
  • Ensurescalability, performance, and alignment with enterprise standards.
  • Drive the migrationandmodernizationof existing reports and dashboards
  • Focus onimproving usability, consistency, and business value.
  • Partner with businessusersto define metrics that supportinformed decisions.
  • Design, develop, and optimize complex Power BI dashboardsandreports.
  • Design, develop, standardize, and optimizesemantic models using best practices in data modeling and DAX.
  • Translate business requirements into robust data models and structures.
  • Ensure datamodelssupport both current and future analytics needs.
  • Collaborate to source, transform, and integrate data from multiple systems.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for enterprise data.
  • Lead efforts to expand and enhance the data warehouse.
  • Establish and promote data governance standards, including data quality, definitions, security, and report lifecycle management.
  • Influence and drive adoption of BI tools and self-service analytics.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior analysts and power users.
  • Develop and maintain documentation, standards, and training materials.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies within the Microsoft Power Platform and broader analytics ecosystem, recommending improvements where appropriate.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects as a BI and data subject matter expert.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

  • Bachelor's degree in business, technology,data analytics,orrelated field, or equivalent work experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience inbusiness intelligence, data analytics,or related field, including at least3 yearsof hands-onexperience withPower BI, such asdata modeling, DAX, performance optimization, and dashboard design.
  • Strong experience with SQL and working within the Microsoft data ecosystem.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate ambiguous data into concrete insights.
  • Experience indesigning and supporting data warehouse structures.
  • Strong understanding of data governanceanddata quality.
  • Proven ability to work independently with minimal direction while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills with the ability to identify root causes and recommend solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships and act as a trusted advisor.
  • Experience mentoring or guiding less experienced team members.
  • Self-starter with a strong sense of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Other duties, as assigned

PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

  • Informatica, or similarETL/data movement tool.
  • Process improvement and project management methodsandtools.
  • Experience working in a Shared Servicesmodelwhich supports diverse businesses.
  • ExperienceleveragingAI capabilities within Power BI for data modeling, analytics, and insight generation
  • ERP systems and other business systems.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

The starting base salary range for this position is $101,460 - $126,824 per year. The compensation posted is the anticipated pay for the position at the time of the posting. We may pay above or below posted amount based on several factors, including, but not limited to education and/or certifications, skills, experience, or work location. Some positions may qualify for additional compensation in the form of bonuses.
