What to Expect
The New Site Openings Specialist builds the processes and strategies for new store openings, in addition to overseeing and managing the milestone timeline and ramp to business. When a new Tesla Service/Collision site prepares to open, these Specialists will provide on-the-ground support for teams to ensure operations can begin on time.The right candidate will have strong analytical abilities, exceptional communication skills, ability to build business partnerships with internal and external stakeholders and the ability to resolve challenging problems with minimal guidance. This position can be based in Fremont, CA; or any Collision/Service Center in the San Francisco Bay Area.
What You'll Do
- Work
with Real Estate teams to identify new sites in key markets and represent Tesla business partners, and their interests, throughout the process - Perform
onsite checks during and after construction phases to identify blockers of target site opening date and work with cross functional teams to resolve - Maintain
professional working relationships with stakeholders to resolve blockers - Order
equipment/product, track shipments, follow-up on delayed purchase orders, and be onsite to accept crucial deliveries - Serve
as single point of contact for all cross functional teams to drive timely results for site openings - Manage
milestones for key stakeholders, including but not limited to: Design, Construction, Recruiting, EHS (Environmental Health & Safety), Workplace, Field Operations, Information Technology, and Customer Programs - Work
as a support system for regional and storeleadership leading up to site opening and continue to provide ongoing support throughout the lifespan of a site
What You'll Bring
- Ability
to travel up to 75% of the time; comfortable working across multiple time zones - Demonstrated
experience working with and supporting successful expansion initiatives - Minimum
5 years of relevant experience; automotive experience preferred - Strong
analytical and problem-solving skills, along with excellent written and verbal communication; highly proficient with MS office suite - Detail-oriented,
organized, resourceful and able to manage shifting priorities - Proven
ability to act in a leadership role; able to coach, train, develop, and retain projectmanagers - Ability
to deliver results through collaboration across multi-functional teams

Expected Compensation
$88,000 - $132,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
