THE ROLE AMD's Adaptive and Embedded Computing Group is looking for a silicon savvy technical program leader in pre-Silicon program management organization for the exciting role of working with a team of senior program managers chartered to drive execution of key development programs from concept to tape out. Pre-Silicon program management requires you to drive the execution of entire product stack where different deliverables are coming from different engineering teams/functions across AMD. These functions will include Product Planning requirements, Architecture definition, IP design/delivery, SoC Integration, Verification, and SW co-development. With keeping the big picture view of end-to-end program plan and execution, you should co-ordinate and iron-out dependencies among different engineering teams to make sure all the intermediary milestones are being met and execution remains on track. Success of the program will be defined asmeeting or beating the scope, schedule and spend of the program. THE PERSON: This person will be a hands-on program leader, partnering closely with engineering teams to drive execution of key portfolio of IPs across multiple SoC programs, while actively contributing to cross-functional initiatives on behalf of the program management team.
Able to communicate effectively at all levels, including presenting clear program status and insights to executive leadership. Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills with the ability to lead technical issues to resolution, adapt quickly in a dynamic environment, and collaborate seamlessly with global cross-functional teams.
