About the role:

Outage site coordinator is responsible for coordinating, organizing and performing a variety of duties necessary to support field service week at a customer site during outages or projects. The day-to-day responsibilities are not meant to be all inclusive; they outline the primary expectations of this outage role. Functions and responsibilities may vary from site to site.

You will report to our office for training in Manning, SC. After training, you will travel to Korea for a project. You will report directly to the Project Manager.

This is a contract position that will work approximately 3 months.

Day-to-day :




  • Receive and process outage management documents, compile important information into multiple records such as approval requests, schedule, personnel exposure reports, workers, and data management files.
  • Demonstrate proficiency at expected level to use/apply email, software packages including Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Operate job and data management tools.
  • Coordinate and monitor in-processing at site for all Westinghouse staff and designated Westinghouse subcontractors.
  • You will be a contact to assist with in-processing.
  • Maintain and log all correspondence and related paperwork regarding the site, Westinghouse, Westinghouse subcontractors and the NRC.
  • Coordinate with the Westinghouse Access Programs group through use of the Access Programs Outage Support Line to monitor the status of access authorization request letters for crew members.
  • Coordinate all actions related to observations including: daily collections of the Observation cards, scanning for upload to the Westinghouse HU Data Base and create reports to distribute to all partners
  • Perform and greet at Training Center for incoming Westinghouse crews, including contractor personnel working with Westinghouse.
  • Perform necessary responsibilities for escorted access for management visits, group project managers and site tours.
  • Provide administrative support for IT assistance, escorting personnel onto site and around the site, organize shipment request forms and forward on to security, order food and other requests for each group, & other duties as assigned by Outage Manager/Project Manager/Designee.
  • Maintain fatigue management procedures following NRC 10CFR26 regulations and site standards and procedures. Run reports to verify compliance.



What we need to see from you:




  • 1 year of experience in nuclear plant or similar role.


  • Ability to travel & obtain/maintain "Unescorted Access" status.


  • High school diploma, GED or the recognized equivalent required.
  • You will comply with all procedures involving confidential and proprietary information relating to the department and division.
  • You will keep in confidence all material and information entrusted.
  • US Passport required.
  • Successfully pass the background and pre-employment drug screen.

We are committed to transparency and equity in all our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $30/hour to $32/hour.
