- Position: Shuttle/Trolley Driver Floater
- Location: Orange County
- Pay Rate: $27.00 an hour
- Hours: Full-Time 40 hours plus overtime.
- The rate will temporarily increase to $31.00 an hour for the summer peak season, June-Sept.

Requirements:
- Class A/B license w/ Passenger Endorsement
- Air brakes
- Medical Certification
- Must have at least 1 year or more of Class A or B licensed passenger driving experience.
- Must have open availability
- Must be able to work in all locations affiliated with the region.
- Minimum 2 years of experience with a regular Class C license
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- K-4 DMV printout (issued within the last 30 days) required
- Recent Passenger Commercial Vehicle Driving experience
- This position requires a professional appearance; visible tattoos must be covered
- Live Scan is required
The core requirement:
- Must have Class A/B with air brake and passenger enforcement.
- Reliable transportation to work (being late for work due to traffic or breakdown will affect your attendance).
- The furthest shuttle location up north area will be Cal State Dominguez Hills (1000 E Victoria, Carson, CA)
- The furthest shuttle location down south area will be San Clemente. (390 E Avenida Pico, San Clemente, CA)
- Able to use current LAZ-approved technology effectively (include Samsara, TCP etc.).
- Although the shift schedule is varied, we comply with FTA HOS regulations between shifts.
- The schedule also depends on the operation. You may be assigned a very short driving job, or your shift schedule of the day may be a split. Or shift time/location may change without prior notice.
- You are able to communicate with the manager in a timely manner and follow specific instructions as shown.
- All shuttles need to be returned in the same condition as you started, unless the manager approves otherwise.
- All other requirements and conditions are the same as other drivers.
- Once you get hired as a floater, you will need to be in the position at least 180 workdays before transfer to elsewhere. Unless otherwise. Any unfit performance from above can result in disciplinary action up to termination.

Spirit of the Position:
LAZ Parking Floater Driver is responsible for the effective, efficient and safe transportation, loading and unloading of passengers & employees to and from the assigned destinations, and to ensure that all activities support the safety and welfare of all passengers.
Principle Job Duties:
- Safely operating company vehicles.
- G.E.T. 100 (Greet, Engage, and Thank the Guest - 100% of the time).
- Assist passengers when boarding and exiting the vehicle including ADA passengers, if applicable.
- Effectively communicating and working in a team environment to achieve maximum productivity.
- Demonstrate the ability to work self-sufficiently while performing daily tasks as a professional driver.
Requirements:
- 2 or more years with a CDL license.
- Comply with Federal DOT, State and Local Rules/Regulations, and Company Policy.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English.
- Valid Commercial Driver's License with proper endorsement(s).
- Valid Medical Card or ability to successfully perform and pass a DOT physical examination.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or holidays.
Physical Demands:
- Ability to physically push/pull/lift to 50lbs
- Ability to bend at the knees or squat frequently throughout a shift.
- Willingness to work in inclement weather (rain, sleet, snow, heat, high wind, etc.)
