UMKC School of Dentistry Dental Clinic Job Description
We are seeking a Dental Assistant II to assist in our student pre-doctoral clinic. This position is designed to provide community patient care as directed by the student doctors as well as provide patients with knowledge on proper oral care and dental hygiene. Successful candidates will be team-focused, problem solvers, known for their ability to build professional relationships with patients, students and faculty. Must have a positive, proactive attitude. This position at UMKC will offer a benefit package for full-time employees. Duties include but are not limited to:
Minimum Qualifications
A high school diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year of experience from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities can be acquired is necessary. Certifications as required by regulatory agencies is necessary. (Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) certification by DANB) Preferred Qualifications
Anticipated Hiring Range
The anticipated hiring range for this position has been established as $17.00 - $19.00 per hour Salary is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to, the individual's particular combination of education, skills, and experience, as well as organizational requirements. Your total compensation goes beyond the number on your paycheck. The University of Missouri provides generous leave, health plans, and retirement contributions that add to your bottom line.
