Network Support Technician (Contract) | Irvine, CA | $40-$48/Hour

Join a leading organization in Irvine, CA, where you'll play a hands-on role supporting enterprise network infrastructure, telecommunications systems, and workplace technology. If you're experienced with Cisco networking and enjoy solving technical challenges in a fast-paced environment, this could be the opportunity for you.
Pay: $40-$48/hour

Schedule: Onsite, Monday-Friday

Location: Irvine, CA

Position Type: Contract (Month-to-Month)
Key Responsibilities:


  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot Cisco network switches and related infrastructure
  • Support network upgrades, equipment refreshes, and migration projects
  • Provide support for VoIP and telephony systems, including Cisco Call Manager (CUCM)
  • Troubleshoot network connectivity, cabling, and hardware issues
  • Support conference room technology, audiovisual systems, and collaboration tools
  • Manage and resolve IT support tickets through ServiceNow
  • Coordinate with vendors on installations, maintenance, and upgrades
  • Document technical issues, resolutions, and system changes
  • Deliver onsite technical support to end users and business stakeholders


Qualifications:


  • 3+ years of experience in Network Administration, Network Engineering, or IT Infrastructure Support
  • Experience supporting Cisco networking environments
  • Knowledge of switching, routing, VLANs, and network troubleshooting
  • Experience with Cisco Call Manager (CUCM), VoIP, or telephony systems
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow or similar ticketing platforms
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently in an on-site support role
