SOC Operator - Full Time

As a SOC Operator - Full Time in Santa Clara, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Dispatch professional in a dynamic commercial real estate location, where you will monitor cameras and alarm activity, coordinate responses to security-related incidents, and support clear communication across the property. In this fast-paced role, you will help keep operations running smoothly while delivering great customer service and representing a team that values being agile, reliable, innovative, and acting with integrity.

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by supporting site-specific procedures, communication needs, and emergency response activities from the dispatch post.
• Monitor phones, radios, cameras, alarms, and other building systems to help identify security-related concerns and coordinate the appropriate response.
• Dispatch personnel to incidents, service calls, and priority locations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining clear communication with on-site teams and management.
• Document incidents, activities, and unusual conditions in logs and reports, including time-stamped updates, notifications, and follow-up actions as needed.
• Support regular and random monitoring of the property, garages, loading areas, lobbies, and perimeter by coordinating field coverage and relaying information for commercial real estate locations.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security-related experience are required.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
