Interventional Radiology

1 year of experience required. Local first-timers are welcome.

BLS, ACLS, and NJ RN license required.

The Radiology IV Access RN organizes and administers individualized, age-specific nursing care across Radiology and Imaging Services, with a primary focus on IV Access.

• Insert and manage IVs, midlines, and PICCs per competency.
• Monitor for complications and respond appropriately.
• Maintain sterile technique and TIME OUT compliance.
• Ensure emergency equipment readiness.
• Review post-PICC chest x-rays per policy.
• Educate patients and families.
