We are looking for a highly skilled and passionate Senior Software Engineer to play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining optimal programming and environment solutions. In this exciting contract opportunity, you will be instrumental in shaping the future of essential risk management systems, ensuring successful delivery and quality code implementation. Your expertise will bridge technical and business needs, fostering collaboration and driving innovation across development teams.

**What You'll Do:**

* Serve as a Senior Developer, collaborating closely with internal development teams to ensure on-time delivery and high-quality code.

* Drive the design, development, and support of tools and processes, from gathering detailed user requirements to architecting and implementing solutions.

* Lead strategic planning discussions with technical, business, and client stakeholders.

* Develop comprehensive architectural diagrams, software code, and automated test scripts.

* Produce efficient and clear technical documentation.

* Act as a key liaison, translating complex technical concepts for non-technical counterparts and vice versa.

* Architect and develop effective solutions that align with the organization's overarching vision.

* Actively participate in product design and development sessions, contributing innovative ideas.

* Engage fully in all Agile ceremonies, fostering a collaborative and iterative development process.

* Partner with Business System Analysts to define and document business and technical requirements.

* Collaborate extensively with team members and partners, exploring enhancement opportunities and technical options.

* Ensure the timely delivery of technical project and release deliverables.

* Mentor team members, share knowledge, and continuously expand best practices within the team.

* Manage multiple priorities effectively while navigating daily challenges and opportunities.

**What You'll Bring:**

**Must-Have Qualifications:**

* 8-10 years of experience with Java, Spring framework, cloud development, and Web Services (REST, SOAP) supporting high volume transactions in a highly available environment.

* 3-5 years of experience designing and developing solutions for complex, enterprise-wide projects.

* A strong understanding of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) principles and their benefits.

* Proficiency in developing architectural and design documentation, functional and technical specifications, and automated test processes.

* Strong working knowledge of software development methodologies, with extensive experience in Agile development processes.

* Experience with industry-standard tools for Agile project and code management.

* Willingness and ability to learn all aspects of test data management and associated tools.

* Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders, including managing offshore development activities.

* Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.

**Nice-to-Have Qualifications:**

* Experience and working knowledge of cloud platforms.

* Experience and working knowledge of various database technologies and messaging queues.

* Experience in driving process improvements, enhancing feature adoption, scalability, and automation.
