As a Security Officer Warehouse Access Verification in Hagerstown, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Screener at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will help monitor access, screen people and/or items, and support a professional environment through strong communication and customer service. You will remain visible, conduct routine patrols, and help address security-related concerns with agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or employees while carrying out screening procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen personnel, visitors, packages, and/or personal belongings entering or leaving the location in accordance with established screening protocols and security-related procedures.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report relevant details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification or credentials when required, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, noting unusual activity, potential policy violations, and/or conditions that may require follow-up.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
