A Day In The Life: The Manager, Strategic Sourcing - Regional Operations, Non-Commodity Direct Materials plays a vital role in Bunge's procurement process, responsible for supporting and executing sourcing activities for Packaging, Chemicals and Ingredients or other non-commodity direct materials in a North America. This role requires operational execution and relationship management with the goal of reducing total cost of ownership, while ensuring supply meets Bunge's demand, quality and technical standards. The Manager, Strategic Sourcing - Regional Operations. Non-Commodity Direct Materials contributes to the achievement of objectives by securing supply and supporting cost improvement initiatives while meeting financial and budget targets. The role interacts with internal and external stakeholders to support the development of effective cost reduction strategies and implementation plans. The Regional Sourcing Manager adheres to internal and external policies, laws, and regulations while actively participating in safety programs and initiatives and following all safe work practices. What You'll Be Doing: Support Regional Sourcing Strategies: o Assist in analyzing market trends, identifying potential suppliers, and evaluating risk to support the creation of sourcing strategies aligned with overall business objectives. o Partner with Bunge's Commercial, Operations and Food Quality & Safety teams to understand demand and manage supply chain and product quality concerns. o Support the development of one-year and multi-year strategic sourcing/project plans for assigned subcategories. o Track strategy implementation progress and performance including regional spend to ensure compliance with strategic procurement programs. o Collaborate with the COE for analysis and reporting for assigned subcategories. Execute Sourcing & Contracting Activities: o Participate in the 7-step sourcing process. o Evaluate proposals and scorecards and support supplier selection and negotiations. o Manage the defined Procurement approval process for sourcing as required by the Global Procurement Policy. o Support contracting activities, monitor stakeholder contract compliance, and support corrective actions to improve contract compliance. o Help align negotiation timing and contract durations between regions/countries. o Drive cost efficiencies and support savings targets by reducing overall costs without compromising quality. Support the Global Category Team: o Collaborate with the global category teams to validate regional application of global strategies. o Actively participate in global sourcing initiatives. o Support regional/country stakeholders in alignment with global strategies. Collaboration: o Coordinate sourcing activities across North America locations and stakeholder groups. o Collaborate with peers to best leverage Bunge's spend. o Maintain the regional supplier database (service portfolio, financial KPIs, performance reviews). o Support Regional/Country Stakeholder Relationship Management and mapping. o Participate in cross-functional review meetings with key strategic suppliers to improve performance and further reduce costs. o Collaborate with Finance, Sustainability, and other functional areas as required. Stakeholder Management: o Act as a point of contact for the business to help ensure business requirements are met. o Provide training and support to stakeholders to drive compliance. o Support the completion and maintenance of detailed stakeholder mapping. o Support the alignment of action plans with Key Stakeholders. Supplier Management: o Assist in managing commercial supplier relationships and contracts. o Track the performance of key strategic suppliers. o Support supplier development activities and participate in cross-functional review meetings with key strategic suppliers to improve performance and reduce costs. o Help identify potential contract improvement opportunities. o Support the risk management evaluation on a regular basis. Team Management o Lead regional sourcing analysts by providing guidance, mentorship, and performance management to ensure effective team functioning. o Act as primary collaborator with Global Category Managers & senior stakeholders. o Complete performance review with input from Regional Leader and global category teams. Skills/Experience Requirements: o Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. o 6+ years of experience in strategic sourcing and supplier management of packaging, chemicals or ingredients. o Experience with category management is a plus. o Knowledge of strategic sourcing methodologies. o Strong analytical skills, including cost analysis. o Proficiency in relevant software and tools, including ERP systems and e-sourcing platforms. o Experience in a global organization is a plus. o Ability to travel up to 10% to meet with stakeholders, suppliers, and peers.
