Salary: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year

Shift: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Buyer Responsibilities:



  • Manage purchasing activities for raw materials, equipment, tools, parts, and services within an FDA-regulated and ISO-certified manufacturing environment.
  • Process purchase orders and requisitions while maintaining accurate pricing, delivery schedules, and inventory levels.
  • Collaborate with production and scheduling teams to expedite materials and prevent supply chain disruptions.
  • Forecast demand, monitor vendor lead times, adjust order quantities, and maintain appropriate safety stock levels.
  • Research, source, and evaluate suppliers to support quality, cost, and delivery objectives.
  • Maintain strong vendor relationships and track supplier performance related to pricing, quality, delivery, and service.
  • Partner with Quality Control to resolve supplier issues, non-conforming materials, and corrective actions.
  • Investigate and resolve purchasing, receiving, inventory, and invoice discrepancies.
  • Support budgeting activities, cost analysis, continuous improvement initiatives, and purchasing projects.
  • Maintain purchasing documentation and ensure compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
  • Create and maintain Kanban systems as needed to improve material flow and efficiency.


Buyer Qualifications:



  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field preferred; equivalent purchasing or supply chain experience considered.
  • 3+ years of purchasing, procurement, or supply chain experience preferred; manufacturing experience strongly desired.
  • Experience working in a high-volume manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Knowledge of FDA-regulated and ISO-certified environments is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of supplier management, inventory control, and procurement processes.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, Teams, and business software applications.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience reviewing data, trends, and reports.
  • Knowledge of engineering, machining, metals, plastics fabrication, and electronics manufacturing processes is a plus.
