Job Title: Senior Project Manager Location(s): Richmond, VA (Hybrid: Preferred 2 days/week onsite) Job Summary: Seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead the planning and implementation of a Revenue Lifecycle Replacement System. This is a high-risk, complex initiative involving multiple workstreams, vendors, and internal teams. The ideal candidate is a hands-on project manager with strong leadership, stakeholder management, and vendor coordination experience. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead planning and execution of a large-scale revenue lifecycle replacement project.
- Coordinate activities across vendors, consultants, IT teams, and business stakeholders.
- Manage project scope, schedule, budget, risks, and resource allocation.
- Track project progress and ensure timely delivery of milestones.
- Develop and present project updates to executive leadership.
- Oversee day-to-day project execution across multiple workstreams.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with executives, business leaders, vendors, sponsors, and technical teams.
- Collaborate with technology leads and solution architects to align project plans with organizational best practices.
- Manage procurement activities and vendor performance using defined metrics.
- Ensure compliance with established project management governance and standards.
- Identify, assess, and resolve project risks and issues.
- Lead project scoping, requirements gathering, estimation, and planning activities.
Required Skills:
- Extensive experience managing large, complex enterprise IT projects.
- Strong project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and risk management skills.
- Experience managing third-party vendors and consulting teams.
- Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
- Ability to coordinate multiple workstreams simultaneously.
- Experience presenting project status to senior leadership.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience with project governance and project lifecycle management.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience implementing Revenue Lifecycle or Revenue Cycle systems.
- Experience working with healthcare organizations or public sector agencies.
- Familiarity with enterprise system implementations involving multiple vendors.
- Hybrid availability preferred (2 days onsite); remote candidates with closely aligned experience may also be considered.
