Summary
The Customer Load Management (CLM)Supply Portfolio Tradermay work in various distinct areasincludingshort-termloadforecasting,New York IndependentSystemOperator (NYISO)energybidding/transacting,energy reconciliation,long-term forecasting, load research, load evaluations,Capacity/UCAP forecasting, NYISO ICAP/UCAP bidding/transacting,energy andcapacity reconciliation,and various market and customer load related analyticsand market bidding. Within these areas, the CLM Trader performs,assistsand/or supports the critical functions necessary for the success of the group and its stakeholders. The CLMTradermust understand the fundamentals of customer tariffs and contracts fordevelopingcomprehensive, dynamic, and static forecasts of demand, energy,capacityandcoincidencepeak loads, as well as production sales delivery andtransactsNYISO-related bids andbilateralsforallNYPA'ssupplycustomersas well asenterprise-wide stakeholders. The CLMTradermanages all theenergyandcapacitytransactions within the NYISO marketplace and serves as the authoritative source for all supply-customer load and capacity related data associated with thetransactions.The CLMTrader must have strong analytical skillstosupport autonomous decision making,mustbe prepared to articulate anddefend theiranalytics behind the decisions;they must alsomanageand perform all thecustomerload-relatedreporting needs for the enterprise.They are consideredthe subject matterexpertson allaspects related to wholesale marketand retail customer load forecastingand Load Serving Entity (LSE) transactions. The salary offered will be determined based on the successful candidates' relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
