Role: Advanced IT Business Systems Analyst ( Healthcare industry experience is a must) Location: 100% Remote (U.S.) Duration: 6 Months (Contract) Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Advanced IT Business Systems Analyst to partner with business stakeholders and IT teams in analyzing business needs and delivering technology solutions. This role will lead highly complex, enterprise-level initiatives with significant business impact, serving as the functional and technical lead throughout the project lifecycle. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in business systems analysis, requirements gathering, business process modeling, Agile methodologies, and SDLC. Healthcare industry experience is preferred. Key Responsibilities Lead the analysis, design, implementation, and testing of complex enterprise initiatives. Facilitate business requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders. Drive business architecture design, business process analysis, and capability roadmap development. Translate business needs into detailed functional requirements, user stories, and non-functional requirements. Collaborate with Technical Architects and Development teams to define solution design and technical impacts. Review and clarify user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical requirements. Serve as Product Owner when required. Develop system documentation including: Process flows Workflow diagrams Integration specifications Mapping documents User guides Training materials Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including: Test planning Test case development User validation Sign-off coordination Support implementation activities, production support, operational readiness, warranty support, and issue resolution. Perform root cause analysis and coordinate production issue resolution. Mentor junior Business Systems Analysts and provide technical leadership across projects. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience). 4+ years of Business Systems Analysis experience. Strong understanding of: SDLC Business Analysis methodologies Requirements elicitation Business Process Analysis Systems Integration Experience developing: Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) Functional Requirements User Stories Process Flows Use Cases Experience working with Agile methodologies. Strong knowledge of enterprise systems and application architecture. Experience supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and business audiences. Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong stakeholder management, facilitation, negotiation, and leadership skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. Healthcare industry experience. Experience serving as a Product Owner. Experience supporting enterprise system implementations and production support.
