Job Title: Production Support Specialist
Location: Malabar, FL
Employment: Temp to Perm (12 months)
Industry: Aerospace and Defense
Compensation: $22.00/hr.
Schedule: 40 hours/week - 1 st shift
About the Opportunity:
  • Oversees and coordinates a production team to efficiently process work in accordance with a production plan and to promote and deliver high quality output.
  • Works with Operations Management to execute in accordance a system of manufacturing standards and follow company policies and procedures.
  • Encourages team members to drive continual improvement in their production area using the HBX tool set.
  • Act as the go-to person for employee issues, concerns, and questions in their assigned production area.

What You'll Do:
  • Responsible for coordinating, controlling, and executing material movement activities throughout the production facility to ensure all production areas are properly stocked and supported.
  • Manages the flow of raw materials, work-in-process, and finished goods across the facility in alignment with production schedules and operational priorities.
  • Monitors material availability, inventory locations, and staging needs to prevent shortages and production delays.
  • Ensures materials are received, stored, transferred, and delivered to the appropriate areas accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Supports efficient material handling practices, maintains inventory accuracy during movement, and helps ensure continuous production flow across all departments.
  • Developing support individual contributor.
  • Works under general supervision.
  • Work is less structured within identified boundaries and procedures.
  • Identifies problems and issues in straightforward situations.
  • Less detailed instructions are provided and moderate peer review is needed.
  • Communicates with contacts typically within the department on matters that involve obtaining or providing information needing explanation or interpretation to understand and reach agreement.
  • Follows established processes to complete tasks.
  • Escalates issues to supervisor for resolution.
  • Works to achieve operational targets within job area which has some impact on the overall achievement of results for the team.
  • Work is somewhat limited in scope, typically on smaller, less structured task-related activities.
Job Requirements
What You'll Bring:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 2+ years of experience Managing flow of raw materials, monitor material availability and staging needs to prevent shortages and productions delays.
