Position Summary

The Chief Supply Chain Officer, Pres Myriadd Supply Solutions work will provide executive operational leadership in the delivery of supply chain services for MHS and its B2B model Myriadd Supply Network & Strategies with the primary objective of delivering world class supply, capital, purchased services and non-labor expense reduction initiatives. The role is also accountable for delivering economic growth, driving operational, financial and cultural excellence. This role is a strong leader capable of engaging strategically with key partners and stakeholders, building robust relationships with participating members, maintaining day-to day supply chain enterprise operations and delivering operational excellence. This role will work collaboratively with other MHS senior executives to achieve enterprise-wide goals and objectives. They will be expected to achieve a high-performing regional aggregation network platform founded upon integrity, collaboration, stewardship, transparency, commitment, and excellence that is focused on top quartile pricing performance and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities also include setting the enterprise supply chain and Myriadd strategies, the implementation of smooth and efficient processes, systems and teams that will be paramount in creating a unique and differentiated platform for lowering the costs for supplies, capital and services. The incumbent provides leadership and strategic direction in Supply Chain Management and Contract Management for MultiCare Health System (MHS) and develops strategies, policies and practices that are aligned with organizational mission, vision and values. Accountable for the enterprise supply budget, contracting, purchasing, materials management Information systems, value analysis, capital management, warehousing, inventory management, distribution and courier services. Serves as a key resource and advisor to the Chief Administrative Officer and Executive leadership and a champion for organizational cost reduction initiatives and as a change agent for process improvements resulting in industry best practices across the enterprise. Hospital-based leaders may have a dual matrixed reporting structure.

Requirements

  • Master's degree

  • Ten (10) years of senior level management experience

  • Five (5) years of current senior leadership experience in a role with an integrated health system or similar organization
