Job Description

Summary:

The Coordinator roles are designed to provide specialized support to a particular business area, function, or department. These jobs provide direct assistance to Analysts, Specialists, or other high level positions to ensure all communication, documents, and processes related to the applicable business area all run as efficiently as possible. This level of work is a cross between processing, support work and specialized, technical or professional jobs; elevated knowledge of a specific area and problem solving are all essential to make these jobs as impactful and effective as they are intended.

Employees in this role are required to accurately record all hours worked and submit timesheets in accordance with company policy. Overtime may be assigned as business needs dictate, and employees are expected to work overtime when required.

This is a 100% in-office position. Candidates must be able to work on-site at a designated company office during standard business hours.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Administers plans or processes such as benefit plans, retirement packages or plans, compensation plans; interpret legal regulations or guidelines.

  • Assists employees or customers with questions and issue resolutions.

  • Assists Analysts, Specialists, department, and/or other higher level positions that handle operational functions of a particular business area. Serves as subject matter expert and provide specialized support.

  • Contacts or replies to contacts from high ranking individuals who may be from other organizations or agencies that may involve unique situations and each contact must be handled differently, using judgment and discretion.

  • Analyzes unit operating practices, such as record keeping systems, forms control, suggestion systems, personnel and budgetary requirements, and performance standards to create new systems or revise established procedures.

  • Assists in identifying opportunities or needed changes in response to process, product, and regulation changes. Develops a proposal and help implement, if approved.

  • Prepares reports including conclusions and recommendations for solution of operational and functional problems.

  • Recommends new practices as a result of findings from studying and/or staying relevant to industry topics.

  • Interprets requests, helps implement action, and decides whether leadership should be notified of important or emergency matters as needed.

  • Coordinates and prepares monthly meetings and reports to be approved.

  • Assists in coordination and publication of reports and materials to leadership.

  • Handles business continuity plans, serving as part of the disaster recovery response team.

Qualifications / Experience Required:

  • High school diploma or a GED.

  • 5 years' administrative or related experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.

  • AIC designation or equivalent insurance education or experience

Salary range is $47022 - $65000
