Come join our Fortune-level financial client's creative team that balances the speed and agility of an agency with the scale and stability of a corporate powerhouse. We are currently implementing a fresh, dynamic brand identity across all customer touchpoints and need a versatile, highly adaptable Mid-Level Designer to step in, hit the ground running, and help build out our visual universe. (Note: Strong Junior-level designers with exceptional portfolios and relevant experience will also be considered). We are looking for a true design "unicorn"-someone with solid design chops who can seamlessly pivot between print, digital displays, large-format graphics, and web UI. You should be an ideator as much as an executor, bringing a cool head, patience, and visual excellence to a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities & Work Breakdown:
You will work on both original concepts and resized/adapted tactics across a balanced mix of media:
- Print & Layout (50%): Concept, design, and lay out print ads, brochures, multi-page books, and long-form publications.
- Digital Media & Display (40%): Iterate and execute digital display tactics (banner ads, social post graphics, web assets) using established design systems and libraries.
- Environmental & Experiential (10%): Create large-scale out-of-home (OOH) graphics, elevator wraps, and event signage.
- Brand Implementation: Interpret new brand guidelines quickly and execute assets in bulk to support our ongoing rebrand rollout.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner smoothly across teams and navigate multi-layered corporate review processes with patience, grace, and flexibility.
Core Qualifications & Requirements
- Portfolio (Required): A strong showcase demonstrating elevated design fundamentals, strong layout skills, and the ability to work within institutional, Fortune-level brand guidelines.
- Software Mastery: Expert proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) is required. AfterEffects is a bonus!
- Figma Skills: Working knowledge of Figma to collaborate on digital assets and UI layouts.
- Adaptability & Temperament: A resilient, "roll with the punches" attitude. You possess the humility, enthusiasm, and patience required to thrive in a corporate environment with extensive review layers.
- Fast Ramp-Up: Ability to step in mid-stream during an active rebrand and hit the ground running.
What Will Set You Apart (Nice-to-Haves):
- Web Page UI & System Design: Experience with full-page UI design in Figma using established component libraries, design templates, and basic UX principles.
- Animation / Motion Design: Experience creating motion graphics or animated assets for digital displays.
- Advanced Retouching & AI: High-level photo editing skills or experience leveraging Generative AI tools within your creative workflow (especially for visualizing physical objects like coins or medals).
- Financial Industry Background: Prior experience in financial services or corporate institutional environments is a plus (though not required-we will teach you the business!).
Why Join Us?
- High-Visibility Work: Play a central role in rolling out a multi-channel visual rebrand for a premier global financial organization.
- Agency Vibe, Corporate Support: Enjoy the creative energy of agency-style projects within a team culture that values, respects, and treats its people well.
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $40 to $42 hr. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location. #LI-MH1
