Job Summary
KEMRON Environmental Services, Inc. is seeking a Senior Environmental Project Manager to join and report through its collaborative team based out of Marietta, OH. This individual will serve a key function in identifying and managing environmental/engineering projects and proposals, conducting engineering research and analysis, and supervising field investigations and laboratory analysis. With compliance evaluation and support, environmental investigation, and remedy evaluation, selection, implementation, and monitoring/maintenance all provided in our various service areas, KEMRON employees have the opportunity to work in a wide variety of environmental project phases, and gain hands-on experience that provides open-ended career growth. Qualifications* Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Geology, Hydrogeology, or other relevant science field. Master's degree preferred; * In-depth knowledge and understanding of EPA, CERCLA, and RCRA regulations; * At least 8 years of direct, practical experience with RCRA and/or CERCLA environmental investigation and remediation projects, with progressive project management responsibilities and regulatory interaction; * Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining client relationships, expanding work with existing clients, pursuing new clients, and supporting business development activities; * Professional Geologist (PG) or Professional Engineer (PE) preferred; * Strong people, project, and client management skills; * Strong commitment to safety and quality work environment; * Knowledge of quantitative/technical analyses and related software; * Excellent public speaking, written, and verbal communication skills; * Strong attention to detail and quality with excellent analytical, multitasking, judgment and critical thinking capabilities; * Ability to effectively work independently and in a team environment; * Ability to travel to client sites and various KEMRON offices; ability to traverse uneven terrain, climb stairs, and otherwise possess mobility for both office and field work; * Possess reliable transportation and a valid driver's license in good standing. Responsibilities* This key KEMRON team member will identify and manage environmental and engineering consulting projects and proposals, conducting research and analysis, planning, scheduling, supervising and managing field investigations and laboratory analyses with subsequent interpretation and reporting. * In this role, you will have the opportunity to manage a diverse range of projects that include regulatory analysis and decision-making, compliance assurance, and investigatory and problem-solving related to environmental protection that will return impacted properties to productive and safe commercial, industrial and/or residential use.
