Responsibilities

As The Deputy Program Manager- Secruity Services, you will provide senior-level operational management and coordination support for contractor security services within an executive-level DoW SAP and SCI environment. This position supports a Government client and assists the Program Manager in overseeing contract execution, workforce management, integrated mission support, and day-to-day performance across headquarters and field site security functions. The Deputy Program Manager helps ensure continuity of operations, responsiveness to Government priorities, and consistent execution of program requirements across the supported security enterprise.

Essential Responsibilities:

    Assist the Program Manager with day-to-day oversight of contractor personnel, tasking, schedules, staffing coordination, and contract performance.
  • Support integrated execution of security support requirements across multiple functional areas and locations.
  • Coordinate with Government leads, functional team leads, and contractor personnel to track priorities, resolve issues, and support timely execution of requirements.
  • Monitor actions, deliverables, staffing needs, and performance trends and provide management support to sustain continuity of operations.
  • Prepare and maintain management reports, briefing materials, action trackers, status updates, and other program documentation.
  • Support onboarding, transition activities, personnel accountability, and internal coordination associated with contract execution.
  • Act on behalf of the Program Manager, as required, in coordinating operational matters with Government stakeholders.
  • Support process improvement, workload balancing, and execution oversight across the supported program.


Qualifications

  • Master's degree from an accredited college or university in a relevant discipline and 10 years of directly relevant experience; or a bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline plus 14 years of directly related work experience.
  • Experience must include support to Special Access Program and Sensitive Compartmented Information environments
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate effectively across Government, contractor, and external stakeholders; prepare briefings, reports, standard operating procedures, and official correspondence; and lead a team in fast paced classified environments.
  • Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility; must be able to meet any applicable Special Access Program eligibility requirements identified by the Government.


Pay Transparency Statement

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is USD $132,500.00/Yr. - USD $221,300.00/Yr. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
