What You'll Do:
  • Design, analyze, and evaluate mechanical systems, components, equipment, and packaging solutions.
  • Conduct feasibility studies, engineering evaluations, and testing on new and modified designs.
  • Support prototype development, design verification, and validation activities.
  • Perform laboratory testing, data analysis, and technical investigations to support engineering objectives.
  • Collaborate with engineering, laboratory, manufacturing, and cross-functional teams to solve technical challenges.
  • Apply statistical methods and experimental techniques to evaluate performance and improve processes.
  • Provide design documentation and technical information to support engineering and drafting activities.
Job Requirements
What You'll Bring:
  • 3+ years of experience in mechanical engineering, product development, design engineering, R&D, or related technical environments.
  • 2+ years of experience working in a chemical laboratory, materials laboratory, research laboratory, or similar technical setting.
  • 2+ years of experience performing surface preparation, materials evaluation, analytical testing, or laboratory characterization techniques.
  • 2+ years of experience utilizing Statistical Process Control (SPC), Design of Experiments (DOE), or other statistical analysis methodologies.
  • 2+ years of experience supporting engineering testing, validation, feasibility studies, or product development programs.
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.

  • Experience supporting semiconductor, advanced manufacturing, materials science, chemical processing, or technology-focused industries.
  • Strong understanding of data analysis, process optimization, and experimental design.
  • Experience working in matrixed organizations and highly collaborative environments.
  • Proven ability to effectively communicate technical findings to diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing business needs.
  • Strong problem-solving and root-cause analysis capabilities.
  • Experience supporting prototype fabrication and engineering validation activities.
  • Ability to work effectively with internal customers, suppliers, and cross-functional teams.
