JOB SUMMARY

The Secure Vault - Warehouse Clerk will receive, count, store, and prepare orders for pick-up, local delivery, and outbound shipments, according to company processes and procedures. The work will meet or exceed the established standards of efficiency, quality and productivity as well as result in a high level of customer satisfaction.



DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS


  • Maintain Secure Vault log accurate in real time and process transactions in SAP and PMS real time
  • Utilize computer to transmit data within systems
  • Must be Excel and other computer systems literate and able to learn products to support production
  • Create or produce reports as requested to support department operation, inventory and support management
  • Maintain vault organized and ensure material is transferred in a timely manner
  • Develop rack labeling, cycle count procedures, and maintain accurate secure vault inventory
  • Ensure products are packaged properly and safely with clear identification on racks or shelves
  • Develop working relationship with Audit team and practice PCI compliance at all times
  • Ensure items for destruction in secure vault are processed on timely basis
  • Assist shipping/receiving as needed to promote teamwork and productivity
  • Maintain inventory management, assist with physical inventory, cycle counts, shipping-receiving process
  • Utilize scanner system to scan bar codes in order to process orders correctly
  • Fulfill orders accurately according to work orders (ticket worksheets)
  • Understand all aspects of work orders to determine quantity, special work instructions, and transfer methods
  • Create or produce carton labels, barcode labels, and/or skid tags/flyers
  • Utilize work orders to gather and transfer materials, supplies, and product during assigned shift
  • Operate motorized pallet jack, fork truck, scissors lift, or similar equipment to, count, transfer, and move materials
  • Follow safety procedures at all time when operating equipment to transfer and move materials
  • Ensure pick lists, product identification numbers, packing lists, carton labels, and skid labels products match, and sent to the correct destination
  • Develop effective communication with all departments to ensure accurate communication and transfer of product
  • Report damage or quality issues to supervisor
  • Follow standard work procedures for the department
  • Maintain work areas clean and organized
  • Perform additional job duties as assigned by Supervisor

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS


  • At least one year of related experience in shipping, warehouse or fulfillment
  • High School diploma or equivalent. College degree a plus
  • Intermediate computer skills using a PC Windows system
  • Experience working with MRP/WMS, and systems
  • Ability to communicate fluently in English in order to read pick lists and follow work instructions with a high level of detail
  • Proactive, positive and focused on quality
  • Strong focus on accuracy and detail orientation
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to verify numbers across various documents and materials
  • Strong numerical sequencing skills; ability to count and perform basic math with or without a calculator
  • Ability to work while standing for the majority of the shift
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
  • Ability to work safely and effectively in a fast-paced environment, while meeting or exceeding productivity standards and deadlines
  • Understanding and willingness to follow specific safety guidelines



PREFERRED


  • Experience in the plastic card industry
  • Experience using FedEx Ship Manager and UPS shipping software
  • Experience with an RF Scanner
  • Experience with SAP
  • Forklift certified



PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT


  • Requires sitting at a desk in front of a computer screen for 6-8 hours per day
  • Requires visual acuity to operate a computer, read a computer screen, read policies and manuals
  • Requires manual dexterity to operate a computer, phone, fax, scanner
  • Requires physical strength to move boxes and arrange them on shelves
  • Warehouse and Shipping/Receiving environment



Pay ranges from $19-$21/hour, based on the role, level, and shift.
