Full-Time \| Day Shift Lee Health 3637 Dr Martin Luther King Jr Blvd , Suite 101 , Fort Myers, FL 33916 Make an Impact Every Day As a Medical Assistant, you'll be an essential part of our care team, working alongside physicians and physician assistants to provide exceptional patient care and a positive patient experience. You'll have the opportunity to: Build meaningful relationships with patients and families Perform phlebotomy and point-of-care testing Collect and process laboratory specimens Assist with minor procedures Assist with medication administration under appropriate supervision Accurately collect, communicate, and document patient information Maintain accurate medical records Provide patient instructions and answer questions Prepare and maintain safe, clean, and efficient patient care areas Support a collaborative team dedicated to quality patient care What Youll Need Education High School Diploma or GED required Completion of an accredited Medical Assisting program preferred Experience Medical Assistant experience preferred One year of Medical Assistant experience in a physician's office or hospital outpatient setting may be accepted in lieu of completion of an accredited Medical Assisting program Certifications CMA, CCMA, or RMA preferred BLS required within 90 days of hire Additional Skills Medical terminology knowledge Strong communication and interpersonal skills Basic computer skills Commitment to providing excellent patient care Ready to Join Us?
