Junior Test Engineer - Automotive Software & Vehicle Testing

Location: Irvine, CA | Contract: 3 Months | Schedule: 3 Days/Week | Pay: 30/HR

We are seeking a Junior Test Engineer to support automotive vehicle testing, software updates, and quality assurance activities. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career candidate interested in automotive technology and software testing.

• Manage test vehicles, including fueling, washing, maintenance, scheduling, and transportation.
• Perform Head Unit (HU) software updates and maintain current software versions.
• Conduct test drives and transport vehicles to testing locations.
• Document vehicle usage, maintenance, software updates, and testing activities.
• Create and maintain How-To guides and work instructions.
• Support App UAT, ticket validation, and basic software testing.
• Work in testing garages and external testing areas.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Automotive Engineering, Electrical/Computer Engineering, or related field.
• Recent graduates encouraged to apply.
• Knowledge of software QA principles and testing methodologies.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
• Self-motivated and eager to learn.
• Valid driver's license and ability to operate test vehicles.
