What You Will Do:
  • Collaborate with leaders across Integrity & Risk Management to align business priorities, operational needs, and modernization initiatives with broader organizational strategies.

  • Develop and maintain business capability roadmaps, helping prioritize data, systems, technology, and process improvement opportunities.

  • Lead the development of arguments, investment recommendations, funding proposals, and implementation plans that support critical initiatives and long-term business objectives.

  • Serve as the business liaison and sponsor for data, analytics, automation, AI, and technology initiatives, ensuring business requirements are clearly defined and communicated to delivery partners.

  • Facilitate workshops, collaborator engagements, and executive-level discussions to drive alignment, resolve challenges, and support effective decision-making.

  • Coordinate business readiness activities, support change adoption, and help advance technology and enablement initiatives from concept through implementation.

  • Build positive relationships across business, technology, and leadership teams to find opportunities, manage risks, and drive value realization.

Who You Are:
  • University degree or equivalent experience in Business, Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field.

  • Significant experience in long-term planning, business enablement, technology strategy, management consulting, program management, or operational excellence.

  • Proven experience developing arguments, investment recommendations, executive presentations, and funding proposals.

  • Demonstrated success leading complex, cross-functional initiatives involving business collaborators, technology teams, vendors, and senior leadership.

  • Strong business insight with the ability to assess priorities, structure complex problems, and support informed decision-making.

  • Outstanding ability in building relationships, communicating, facilitating, and influencing, with the capacity to deliver results without direct authority.

Preferred:
  • Experience supporting data integration, analytics, digital transformation, governance, automation, or AI-related initiatives.

  • Knowledge of data strategy, business process improvement, operational risk management, and technology enablement practices.

  • Experience translating business requirements into technology solutions and working with enterprise technology delivery models.

  • Familiarity with integrity management, risk management, operations, or related energy industry environments.

Working Conditions:
  • Office-based position with the opportunity to work collaboratively across various sites, including Calgary, Edmonton, and Houston.

  • Frequent interaction with business leaders, technology teams, and project collaborators in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

  • Consistent involvement in workshops, planning sessions, executive presentations, and cross-functional meetings.

  • Occasional travel may be required to support collaborator engagement, project activities, and business initiatives.

Physical Requirements include but are not limited to:

Grasping, kneeling, light - moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, typing, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement and the ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time.

Mental Requirements (Both Field & Office) include but are not limited to:

Ability to: understand, remember and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information, understand complex problems and collaborate/explore alternative solutions, organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology, organize and prioritize work schedule on a short-term basis, make decisions which have moderate impact on the immediate work unit and monitor impact outside this area, understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines, complete routine forms, compose letters, outlines, memoranda and basic reports and communicate with individuals via telephone.

Salary:
  • Ranges from $96,200 - $125,000 USD for US locations based upon candidate's experience, skills, and internal equity.
  • Applicable compensation policies and guidelines apply to internal candidates.
