Position Summary: We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Senior Program Coordinator.The Senior Program Coordinator is responsible for managing admissions marketing and outreach projects, coordinating events for prospective and admitted students, developing applicant-facing communications, and using data to inform recruitment strategy. This role requires the ability to work independently with minimal direction, exercise sound judgment, and take ownership of daily priorities and workload management. The ideal candidate brings strong project management, communication, and relationship-building skills and thrives in a fast-paced academic environment. This position reports directly to the Director of Admissions and Financial Aid. Job Responsibilities: Recruitment and Outreach Develop and implement recruitment strategies to engage prospective applicants and support enrollment goals. Coordinate outreach efforts with colleges, universities, and pre-health advisors to strengthen institutional relationships and promote NYU Grossman School of Medicine. Represent the Office of Admissions and Financial Aid through on-campus, off-site, and virtual recruitment activities. Use historical application and recruitment data to identify outreach opportunities and inform engagement strategies. Coordinate the student ambassador program to support applicant engagement, enhance the prospective student experience, and contribute to broader admissions outreach efforts. Communications and Marketing Manage applicant-facing communications across web, email, social media, presentations, and print materials. Draft, edit, and update recruitment and financial aid communications to ensure accuracy, clarity, and alignment with institutional branding. Partner with internal communications and marketing teams to develop cohesive digital and print collateral. Maintain and update admissions-related website content and support online engagement initiatives. Events and Applicant Experience Plan and execute recruitment and revisit events, including campus visits, interview-related programming, accepted student events, and the annual revisit program. Coordinate event logistics, communications, timelines, schedules, and budgets. Help ensure a high-quality, welcoming, and informative applicant experience across admissions touchpoints. Data, Reporting, and Continuous Improvement Collect, track, and analyze recruitment, communications, and event data to evaluate performance and improve outcomes. Develop reports, dashboards, and key performance indicators for major initiatives. Identify opportunities to enhance processes, communications, and applicant engagement strategies. Collaboration and Office Support Collaborate with admissions, financial aid, marketing and communications, and other internal stakeholders to support office priorities. Provide support for admissions operations and applicant-facing workflows, including interview day activities, inbox management, ambassador coordination, and related projects. Contribute to a collaborative team environment and support evolving departmental needs. All other tasks as assigned. Minimum Qualifications: To qualify you must have a Bachelor's degree in business administration, health care administration or related field. Minimum of four years of progressively responsible related experience including program/project coordination or equivalent combination of education and experience. Proficiency in using various Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, Access, Power Point and Outlook. Familiar with Internet applications. Effective oral, written, communication, interpersonal skills. Ability to interface effectively with all levels of management and must work and communicate effectively with both internal and external customers. Ability to work within a team environment as well as independently. Time management skills and ability to work well under pressure. Ability to multi task and project manage. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in medical school, graduate, or health professions admissions. Experience with recruitment events, applicant communications, or student engagement initiatives. Experience with website content management, social media, email communications, and/or design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite. Experience leveraging AI-enabled tools to improve communication workflows, enhance operational efficiency, and support data-informed decision-making. Masters degree in communications, marketing, higher education, or a related field. Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization. NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $70,481.60 - $81,026.40 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need.
