| Job Description |
ECU Department of Student Life is currently seeking several
CLCE Student Leadership Assistants.
The
SLA will strive to support a welcoming environment which fosters education through leadership and service.
The primary role of a Student Leadership Assistant is to support the mission of CLCE. This includes:
* Daily office admin operations include greeting visitors, checking mail, answering phones, and organizing files.
* Assist office staff with
CLCE programs and events. This includes leadership, service, and voter engagement programs and initiatives here at
ECU.
* Lead and facilitate different initiatives such as: Alternative Break Experiences, Chancellor's Student Leadership Academy, Citizen U, LeaderShape, Pirates
GIVE, and Pirates
VOTE.
* Serve as a student leader for one Pirates Give Day of Service and plan at least one to two Pirates Give Pop Up Service events per semester.
* Manage and recruit participants and volunteers for
CLCE programs and events.
* Attend outreach events that promote
CLCE related programs and events (weekly tabling events, university sponsored visitation days, etc.)
* Assist with ECU's Williams-Ross Purple Pantry duties including managing inventory, coordinating
deliveries, donations, and events with community partners.
* Attend monthly Student Leadership Assistant leadership meetings to discuss upcoming events and tasks |

| Preferred (Majors, Experience, GPA, etc.) |
- Must be in good academic standing
- Must be enrolled in Fall 2026 and/or Spring 2027
- Ability to work a consistent weekly schedule during Fall and/or Spring semester.
- Strong communication, organization, and customer service skills preferred
- Ability to lift and move items (light to moderate lifting) and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, service oriented environment
$12.00/hour (contingent upon experience). Student Leadership Assistants can work 10 hours per week and 20 hours per pay period. |
