This role supports the development, assessment, integration, and continuous improvement of cybersecurity and supply-chain assurance measures required to protect critical systems, mission data, software baselines, and vendor ecosystems. The selected candidate will be responsible for but not limited to:

Engineering Support & Technical Expertise:

  • Deliver senior-level engineering support across the CSCRM capability lifecycle, including requirements analysis, system design evaluation, architecture assessment, and technical risk review.
  • Apply knowledge of cybersecurity engineering, digital sustainment environments, and mission assurance practices to identify vulnerabilities, supply-chain dependencies, and attack surfaces.
  • Develop and validate technical criteria, testing approaches, and evaluation methods to ensure supply-chain risks are detected, mitigated, and continuously monitored.
  • Support modeling, simulation, and digital engineering activities related to supply-chain threat scenarios, system dependencies, and lifecycle impacts.

Cyber Supply Chain Risk Management Activities:

  • Assess hardware, software, and vendor ecosystem risks using SBOM data, vulnerability intelligence, and program protection requirements.
  • Analyze supplier-provided artifacts for completeness, authenticity, and conformance with cyber resilience expectations.
  • Participate in Cyber Survivability Risk Assessments, tabletop exercises, and mission engineering assessments focused on supply-chain impacts.
  • Support cross-functional collaboration between cybersecurity engineering, acquisition, logistics, and program management communities to drive enterprise-wide supply-chain transparency.

Oversight & Assurance:

  • Provide oversight for CSCRM technical integration across system, subsystem, and component levels.
  • Review contractor and vendor deliverables for alignment with cybersecurity standards, digital engineering expectations, and mission assurance frameworks.
  • Ensure supply-chain risk mitigations are incorporated into engineering documentation, baseline artifacts, and certification packages.
  • Support the development and enforcement of technical policies, standards, and engineering practices related to cybersecurity and supply-chain assurance.

Program & Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Engage with program offices, mission engineering teams, and cybersecurity working groups to integrate CSCRM requirements into ongoing efforts.
  • Provide technical recommendations, briefings, and status updates to leadership, including risk posture assessments and mitigation options.
  • Collaborate with cross-domain experts (Cyber, Digital Engineering, Mission Assurance, RDT&E) to ensure supplychain considerations are addressed from design through sustainment.

Documentation, Policy, & Reporting:

  • Produce high-quality engineering artifacts, including risk assessments, technical reports, supplier evaluations, and vulnerability analysis summaries.
  • Support development of enterprise guidance, reference materials, and integration playbooks related to cyber supply-chain risk management.
  • Track and report metrics related to supply-chain risk trends, mitigation efficacy, and system compliance status.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Experience supporting cybersecurity engineering, mission assurance, or cyber survivability activities within DoD or similar environments.
  • Familiarity with software supply-chain risk concepts, SBOMs, vulnerability analysis, and cyber protection frameworks.
  • Ability to interpret technical artifacts, engineering documentation, and digital system models.
  • Demonstrated experience collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams across acquisition, engineering, cybersecurity, logistics, and operations.
  • Strong communication skills for delivering technical recommendations and stakeholder briefings.
  • Must have an active DoD Secret Clearance or higher
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen

Desired:

  • Experience with digital engineering environments, MBSE tools, or system modeling approaches supporting risk analysis.
  • Prior involvement in Cyber Survivability Risk Assessments or similar CSCRM-related evaluations.
