You can explore the details of our benefits offering by visiting the following link: https://jhh.mybenefitsjhhs.com/ Summary: The Certified Respiratory Therapist II at Suburban Hospital delivers safe, evidence-based respiratory care under medical direction across inpatient and outpatient settings. This position assesses, treats, and monitors patients with actual or potential cardiopulmonary compromise; administers oxygen therapy, aerosolized medications, and chest treatments; operates and troubleshoots ventilators and other respiratory equipment; documents care; and collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to support optimal patient outcomes. Education: Associate degree in Respiratory Therapy, Respiratory Care, or a related field required. Must be a graduate of a Registered Respiratory Therapy program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC). Required Licensure, Certification, Ongoing Training: Current Certified Respiratory Therapist credential through the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) and current Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association required. ACLS, PALS, NRP, and STABLE certifications required where applicable based on the assigned clinical area and patient population.
