At Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center, you will have access to the entire Johns Hopkins networkof specialists. Housing Maryland's only regional burn center, a designated level II trauma center and a pediatric center for emergencycare, Johns Hopkins Bayview is well-prepared to provide the care necessary for the most complex cases, as well quality routine and specialty care.

Shift:Full-time - 40 hours per week - 1 - 2 Holidays a year

Position Summary: Occupational Therapist at Johns Hopkins Medicine located on Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center campus

TheOccupational Therapistspecializing in Rehab Acute

Works under the direct supervision of the Team Coordinator and/or Clinical Specialist, and leadership of the Rehab Therapy Services Inpatient Manager

  • Uses objective evaluation techniques to assess the occupational limitations and medical condition of patients
  • Prescribes and implements a treatment program which is designed to return patients to their maximum level of function
  • Works collaboratively with all members of the multidisciplinary health care team to maximize patient and team outcomes
  • Promotes improvement in service, department and hospital systems to benefit patient care
  • Incorporates and operationalizes the goals and objectives of the organization

Work Experience:

  • Completion of a Bachelor of Science, Master's Degree, or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited academic program.
  • 1 year of Occupational Therapist experience
  • Successful completion of clinical internships as required by the academic program

Education:

  • Completion of a Bachelor of Science, Master's Degree, or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited academic program.

Required Licensure, Certification, Etc.:

  • Current State licensure as an Occupational Therapist required
  • AHA Healthcare Provider CPR required
