Aquent is partnering with a leading organization at the forefront of innovation, where your expertise will be crucial in translating complex concepts into clear, compelling narratives. This is an exciting opportunity to leverage your senior-level judgment and creative problem-solving skills to execute high-impact engagement strategies that resonate with a global employee audience, directly influencing how compliance and ethics are integrated into the daily employee experience.

About the Role

Step into a pivotal role where you'll be instrumental in demystifying complex legal, compliance, and ethics concepts for a global, non-expert employee audience. As a senior learning communications professional and skilled copywriter, you will execute an established engagement strategy across a diverse range of marketing events, campaigns, and activations. Working in close partnership with a dedicated learning and development team, you'll bring your craft and creative problem-solving abilities to life, ensuring that critical information is not only understood but also inspires action across key risk areas. If you are obsessed with the learner experience, thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, and are driven by the challenge of making intricate topics accessible, this role offers an unparalleled opportunity to make a significant impact.

What You'll Do

  • Contribute to defining an overarching engagement strategy, encompassing marketing, events, campaigns, and activations that support key risk areas, in partnership with the learning and development team.
  • Execute effectively against the defined engagement strategy.
  • Collaborate closely with learning and development team members on briefs and feedback, providing informed recommendations and efficiently incorporating revisions.
  • Craft clear, compelling copy for a variety of mediums, including articles, internal social media posts, email campaigns, project spotlights, training deployments, and event and activation materials.
  • Utilize strong creative writing and storytelling skills to render legal and compliance concepts accessible and understandable to a company-wide audience.
  • Adapt voice, style, and tone to suit target audiences, maintaining consistency with applicable style guidelines and brand voice.
  • Interpret copywriting and campaign briefs to quickly grasp project requirements and deliverables.
  • Partner with team members, subject matter experts, cross-functional partners, and stakeholders to develop communications aligned with legal and compliance initiatives.
  • Collaborate with designers and other creative partners on both large-scale and small-scale deliverables.
  • Contribute to the development of standards and guidelines across various mediums to ensure ongoing adoption and consistency.
  • Edit and proofread copy, and source relevant images and supporting content.
  • Work with learning analytics and measurement partners to support measurement plans and apply insights to future content development.
  • Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail to deliver high-quality work products within approved timelines.
  • Manage multiple and competing priorities, maintain up-to-date project tasks and statuses, and promptly escalate any roadblocks to the learning and development team.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment characterized by a high-volume workload and frequent short turnaround times.

What You'll Bring

  • 10+ years of experience supporting and executing large-scale internal communication plans focused on enterprise-wide compliance, risk, and ethics learning.
  • Demonstrated senior-level copywriting and content writing experience, with a portfolio showcasing work across enterprise campaigns and communications.
  • Experience writing for multiple modalities with the purpose of influencing and shaping mindsets and behaviors at scale across a global workforce.
  • Experience partnering directly with senior business stakeholders and subject matter experts.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, deliverables-based environment.
  • Ability to operate with a high degree of autonomy on execution while staying aligned to team-owned strategy and priorities.
  • Excellent time-management, organizational, and multitasking skills.
  • Proficiency in internal/employee communications writing and editing, including quality assurance for accuracy and consistency.
  • Experience within a large technology company in a corporate compliance, policy, or learning and development communications function.
  • Proven support for engagement campaigns and on-site activations, executing established communication plans from end to end.

Nice-to-Haves

  • A degree (or equivalent experience) in Marketing, English, Journalism, Communications, Learning Science, Education, Legal, Compliance, or a related field.
  • Experience supporting campaigns, events, or activations as part of a broader engagement strategy.
  • Knowledge of online content strategy and creation.
  • Experience in the Legal, Compliance & Ethics space, or in a heavily regulated environment.
  • Experience with filming and production, and with supporting additional learning modalities, including concise video experiences that enhance or reinforce learning.
  • Comfort with less traditional formats such as interactive video, produced communications segments, podcasts, experiential activities, and just-in-time support.
  • Marketing production experience.
  • Experience with communications strategy development, beyond just execution.
